The Best Camera is the one you have with you.
It’s not brilliant but it’s absolutely true. I can’t tell you the number of times I haven’t had a hoity toity DSLR hanging from my neck, but I did have the next best thing, my iPhone. It’s not the mark II but the iPhone does boast a 3mp camera that, in the right light, can take a pretty dang good photo.
So, I am taking a bit of inspiration from Chase Jarvis, the mind behind the “Best Camera” app and I am going to start uploading one photo, created by my phone, per day. It will be an interesting challenge and I am looking forward to it keeping me on my toes.
I will only use my iPhone camera and the editing apps that can be done directly on the phone and I will upload it directly to my blog from my phone. These images will never touch a computer, now let’s just hope they don’t look like phone shots!
